Hi!
Welcome to my cozy corner of the internet. My name is Sarah, and I am a brand new first time mom trying to find her footing while also navigating going back to my corporate 9-5 in healthcare.
Before becoming a mother I was a collector of hobbies. I absolutely loved to be hands on with crafts such as knitting/crocheting, baking, drawing (both on paper and digital on my iPad), playing the occasional video game, doing bead crafts, and even just grabbing a coloring book to relax. I was also an avid reader of historical fiction, suspense/horror, and a little bit of romance.
I am kind of hoping to use this blog as a means of getting back to things I love doing while learning to navigate the joys and struggles of raising a tiny human. I know I am not the first, nor the last, to go through the things that I am but I am hoping that my sharing can still touch someone else going through the same. I am looking forward to integrating my little one into helping bake in the kitchen or getting to read him stories and see his face light up or use the power of art to foster his growing imagination. This is going to hopefully help me realize that my hobbies don’t have to come to an end, they can easily be pivoted and enjoyed by the whole family as we learn and grow in these new roles together.
